Program Description

This two day conference is dedicated to assisting the Director of Nursing and other Clinical Leaders to enhance their ability to survive within the LTC area. The conference will focus on the QAPI Process as the proven method of addressing any clinical issues. The second day of the conference will provide the DON with guidance and tools to help with day to day tasks as well as tools to address immediate jeopardies when cited.

Our attendee goal is 70. Keep in mind we exceeded our goal of 50 attendees last year.
The vendor show will be held on the second day of the conference Sept. 26, 2024
More space for exhibits/displays, which will be held in the Atrium and Garden Room of the hotel
More time with attendees:
- Will open the vendor show for 1 hour after the first morning educational session on 9-26-24.
- 2 hours during lunch
There are 3 Vendor options to choose from. There are some limitations.
- -Full Display and sponsorship of a “food station” for lunch or a break- Limit 6 Sponsors. Sponsorship will ensure high traffic to vendor’s booth. These vendors will have a special signage to indicate they are sponsors and will be recognized in the conference brochure. There is a morning and afternoon break.
  - Food Station- There will be 4 stations for lunch. The attendees will need to stop at each station in order to complete their lunch meal. The stations will be (sliders, taco bar, dessert, & beverage).
- Full Display-Vendor will be able to provide a full display.
- Table Top Display -
2 vendor representatives allowed. Additional representatives will incur an additional charge.
Vendors may choose to attend any of the educational sessions, if there is room.
Door prizes from vendors will be appreciated.

This activity will be submitted to the Wisconsin Nurses Association for approval to award contact hours. The Wisconsin Nurses Association is accredited as an approver of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.

GUEST ROOM RATE FOR THE EMBASSY SUITES: $179.00 PER NIGHT

Reservations must be made on or before September 2, 2024, at 4:00 PM CT (cut-off time) to qualify for the conference rate. Reservations made after this are on a space and rate available basis.

Reservations cancelled less than forty-eight (48) hours before the scheduled check-in date will be charged a fee equal to the applicable rate for the first room night.
